What is the Bite Rating?
A 0–100 rating for every hour on your water, built from pressure trends, fronts, wind, light, water temperature, the season, solunar periods and dawn and dusk. Tap any rating to see every reason behind it. It's a read on conditions, not a promise of fish.
Why does it say the water temperature is estimated?
Few lakes have live temperature sensors, so Bite Day estimates it from recent air temperatures and your water type. If you measure it, tap "Enter measured temp" on Today and the app uses your reading for three days.
What's free, and what's in Premium?
Free forever: today's Bite Rating with every reason, both of today's bite windows, the top 3 baits, one water, an unlimited catch log with CSV export, and the small widget. Premium adds the 10-day outlook, plan-lock alerts, every bait, all your lakes, Your Pattern and the Lock Screen widgets.
How do I cancel my trial or subscription?
In Bite Day, open Settings → Bite Day Premium → Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancel before day 14 of a free trial and you won't be charged.
I already paid. How do I get Premium on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Settings in Bite Day and tap Restore purchase. Restoring never charges you again.
Will I lose my catch log if I change phones?
Right now your log is saved on your iPhone only, so export it as a CSV file from the Log tab before you switch phones. Backup to your private iCloud is coming in an update.
